How to Check BMW iDrive Version: CCC CIC NBT or EVO?
Here are some tips that might be helpful for you to check the BMW iDrive version in your car.
- Check the car type, menu style, year of productionC
- heck the LVDS connector
For some car types, especially for the car with CIC and made in 2012~2014, the LVDS might be 4 Pin or 6 Pin, we suggest removing the original screen to check the LVDS connector.
- 4pin = order CIC android screen
- 6pin = order NBT android screen
Solutions to Common Problems
- If the steering wheel controller does not work
If the steering wheel controls do not work and the original car is equipped with a screen, you need to check that the protocol has not been selected correctly.
- If the original car's display does not show anything:
- Check whether the original car LVDS interface and the car machine are connected.
- Set the original car system parameters.
- If the original car is no screen (no system), it will display no signal.
- If the stereo has no sound :
- Check whether the original car has optical fiber and AUX interface
- If the original car with AUX interface, test the original car AUX interface channel is normal (with an AUX cable, one end connected to the phone, one end plugged into the original car AUX, to see if there is no sound)
- Extend the AUX cable to the armrest box AUX interface.

If the original car comes with 2pin fiber optic wiring, it needs to be connected to the 2pin connector on the female end of our car's power cable, otherwise it will lead to the loss of the original car's radio system and no sound.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
